HEALTH CENTRE IN CERVELLÓ

Project

The first aim is to build the entire public part of the project on the ground floor, using the maximum space allowed in the plot.
By creating an access from the street using the ground slope, the rest of the rooms in the project are built in a continuous way.
As it is impossible to guarantee effective privacy and security if there are windows on the ground floor, it was decided to open the building from the ceiling, through north-facing skylights which allow radiation-free light to enter. These skylights provide light to the consulting rooms as well as to the waiting room. The latter is the only room with a view of outside, overlooking pine trees.
The consulting rooms are ventilated directly from outside through opaque, narrow vents.
The interior will be white in order to complement the effect caused by the skylight, whereas the floor and doors will be black.
