PROJECT FOR 28 NEW SHELTERED HOUSING APARTMENTS IN BARCELONA

Project

The chance of creating an attractive interior space in a block with a certain human activity has determined the entire project. Therefore, a grouping scheme with an access from a footbridge allows all the inner courtyard façades to be active.
The scheme presents great advantages, such as building the whole block in only two vertical sections, which makes access to the car park more comfortable; the problem of different heights is solved by creating great transparency with regard to the inner courtyard, as much on the ground floor as in the spaces between the sections. This allows the light to pass through the whole block.
