SANT BOI LIBRARY

Project

This building is modeled around a set of courtyards which separate and border the different blocks of the design. The courtyards provide light to all the rooms.

The reading room faces away from the city and opens up onto the park. The multipurpose room, with independent access, can be used by citizens without having to be restricted to the public opening hours. The main façade is used to show advertising images of exhibitions and events that take place in the library, emphasizing it as an active, dynamic place.
